Elizabeth Blaylock, ACC

Elizabeth Blaylock is an executive coach and organizational development consultant with a passion for supporting the work of mission-driven organizations and their leaders. She frequently supports exceptional professionals transitioning into organizational leadership roles, capitalizing on her expertise in leadership, as well as professional training and practice. As a coach, she establishes a trusting and collaborative relationship with her client so that together they can explore the leadership challenges of the client’s role, and she can support them to step more comfortably and confidently into new and effective ways of working.


Elizabeth brings more than 30 years of experience across multiple industries with particular depth in higher education and healthcare. She has a unique understanding of the dynamics of complex clinical and academic organizations, including leading and managing experts and professionals, working with boards and committees, strategy and finances. Her expertise in organizational development often serves as a complementary lens in the coaching engagement.

 

Elizabeth has served as a management consultant with McKinsey and Company and CFAR, where she focused on strategy development. She has also served in leadership roles at Christiana Care Health System and the American Board of Internal Medicine.



Elizabeth is an ICF certified coach and holds an Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University, master’s degrees in Public and Private Management and International Relations from Yale University, and a Certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida. She earned a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Harvard University.
